Frank Frattalone Frank Frattalone The Central Lakes College Foundation has received a donation of $10,480, which will be used to enhance the Heavy Equipment Operations and Maintenance program on the Staples campus.

"This support, which is so vital to the operation of the pro - gram, is a result of a golf tourn ament sponsored each year by Frattalone Comp anies of Little Canada," said Diane S c e a rcy, executive director of the CLC Foundation.

Frank Frattalone, company founder, is a 1969 graduate of the CLC Heavy Equipment program.

About 120 golfers participated in the July 21 golf event, and despite rain, most completed 18 holes of play. Funds raised flow through the Frattalone Companies Heavy Equipment Fund held with the CLC Foundation.

This was the eleventh year for the fundraiser played at Oak Glen Country Club near Stillwater. Approximately $190,000 has been raised for students in the CLC Heavy Equipment Operations and Maintenance program.

It is one of only three public college programs of its kind in the Upper Midwest.

Frattalone is a longtime member of the program's advisory council.
