Student Success Day held
Central Lakes College held its second annual Student Success Day - "It's About You!"on Sept. 30. The event is dedicated to current students to ensure continued success while attending the college and in the future. Students chose from an assortment of break-out sessions for tips on things like financial aid, career planning, time management, stress management, memory techniques and more. Above: Corey Urich, a Heavy Equipment instructor, explained aspects of vehicle care to students such as Anais Solga of Motley. His colleagues John Maleski and Mike Sams were co-presenters in this well-attended break-out session titled "Taking the Care Out of Auto Repair." Students also had the opportunity to meet individually with instructors. There were prize drawings and activities such as kickball, paintball, dodgeball and a talent show as well a free lunch.
