Joshua Karl, son of Dwaine Winter, Jr., and Janice Winter; and Alisha Marie, daughter of Mark and Joanne Forsberg and Jeffrey Meech, all of Staples, were united in marriage on May 23, 2009, at an outdoor ceremony held at The Vintage at Staples. Pastor Steven Sveom performed the double ring ceremony.

A reception and dance were held at The Vintage.

Following a honeymoon trip to Jamaica, the couple reside at Staples.
