School Board will meet at

45 p.m., Monday, Sept. 21,

the Staples Motley High School media center.

A school/community forum time will start the meeting providing the board chair and/or superintendent have been contacted by noon of the day

the meeting regarding topic.

Tentative agenda items include:

o Financial items including approve a budget revision for the 2008-09 fiscal year budget, approve private transportation contracts with Northwestern Transit and Johnson Bus Service, accept bids for two new buses, permission to sell a 1989 bus and approve the proposed tax levy.

o Personnel items including approving the following contracts: Alicia Czech, Motley Elementary special education; Alina Robinson, Motley kindergarten; Jeffery Wicht, Motley custodian; Renae Schmitz, Title

at Sacred Heart Area School; and adding time to Tanya Beachy's contract as

paraprofessional at Staples Elementary.

o Other items including approval of the extra curricular coaches for winter and spring activities and approval of a cooperative agreement with Wadena- Deer Creek for girls swimming.

o Reports from the school board committees including facilities, health and safety and curriculum and technology; building principals, high school dean of students/activities director, middle school dean of students, buildings and grounds supervisor and superintendent.

A closed meeting is scheduled to review the superintendent's evaluation.
