Coming Home Project is designed to help women Veterans to "connect with other women veterans by sharing stories, experiences and community; learn stress management techniques; exercise your creative side; and enjoy a beautiful setting through hikking and kayaking on scenic Tomales Bay, California."

Everyone is welcome as they are. There is no particular political or religious belief or affiliation that is represented or required. The intention of the Coming Home Project is to service veterans and contribute to their well- being and healing.

Registration is required to go on the retreat, which is held Oct. 8-11, 2009. Signup/ apply at: www.cominghomeproject. net Application deadline is Sept. 8, 2009.

All women who served in the military since Sept. 11, 2001 are eligible, without regard for race, religion, political or sexual preference.

There is no cost for lodging, meals, workshops, ground transportation or air travel. Coming Home Projects programs are completely free of charge to the participants.
