A retirement open house will be held for Martin Etzler Sunday, Sept. 6, from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. at the Jim and Jackie Tyrrell residence at 12034 231st Ave., Staples. A pig roast begins at 6 p.m. and there will be music and refreshments.
