Evelyn Fornshell - Billman
Evelyn Fornshell - Billman, 90, of Pillager, died Aug. 08, 2009 at Whispering Pines Nursing Home in Pine River.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Aug. 17, at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter with Pastor Julie Sutton - Deem officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. A reception will be held at the Brenny Funeral Chapel Reception Room.
Arrangements are with the Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter.
Evelyn was born March 20, 1919, in Brainerd to Charles and Pegny Gosse. She worked at St. Joseph's Medical Center for 20 years. She married Leonard Fornshell Aug. 22, 1967. They made their home in rural Pillager, owned and operated school buses.
She married Elmer Billman Oct. 22, 2008 making their home in Pillager. Evelyn was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Pillager and a life member of American Legion, Post # 53. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, cooking, gardening and traveling.
Evelyn is survived by her husband, Elmer; one son, Leland (Judy) Foy, of Brainerd; two daughters, Geraldine (Dennis) Gallant, of Yelm, Wash.; Shirley (George) Britton, of Ely; four step-daughters, four sisters-in-law, seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; six great-greatgrandchildren; two step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands,
