It is Ordered and Notice is given that on September 14, 2009, at 11:15 o'clock a.m., a hearing will be held in this Court at District Court, Todd County Government Center, 221 First Avenue South, Long Prairie, Minnesota, on a petition for the formal probate of an instrument purporting to be the decendent's Will dated November 27, 2006, and for the appointment of Duane A. Kozitka and Dawn L. Reierson, whose addresses are 24113 97th St. NW, Zimmerman, MN 55398, and 2442 Cooper Ave. S., St. Cloud, MN 56301, respectively, as personal representatives of the decedent's estate in a supervised administration.

Any objections to the petition must be raised at the hearing or filed with the Court prior to the hearing. If the petition is proper and no objections are filed or raised, the personal representatives will be appointed with the full power to administer the decedent's estate, including the power to collect all assets; pay all legal debts, claims, taxes, and expenses; sell real and personal property; and do all necessary acts for the decedent's estate.

Notice is further given that, subject to Minn. Stat. § 524.3-801, all creditors having claims against the decedent's estate are required to present the claims to the personal representatives or to the Court within four (4) months after the date of this notice or the claims will be barred.

CITY OF STAPLES

NOTICE is hereby given that the Staples City Council gave an ordinance its first reading amending the Zoning Ordinance by creating a business corridor overlay district and establishing standards for businesses located within the new district. The regulations establish new standards related to the exterior of businesses including regulations on design standards, building materials, architectural elements, landscaping, lighting, utilities, and loading areas for properties zoned B-1 (Business District) located north of the BNSF Railroad tracks and south of Third Avenue. Copies of the proposed regulations and standards are available at the Staples Government Center for public inspection.

The second and final reading will be considered at the August 11, 2009 Staples City Council meeting.

Project and Construction Management firms with a demonstrated history of successful completion of local government facilities modernization projects are requested to submit proposals for Project and Construction (Design-Build) Management Services to manage the design and potential renovation of the Todd County Historic Courthouse.

Proposals will be received until 4:30 p.m. on August 13, 2009 at the Todd County Government Center, 347 Central Avenue, Suite 5, Long Prairie, MN, 56347. Todd County reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, any and all proposals, to accept that proposal which best serves the interest of the County, and to waive technicalities.
