Lakewood Health System celebrated 335 births when it hosted its 6th annual Expectations Birthday Party July 23. The event celebrated babies born at the

facility between June 1, 2008 and June 1, 2009. During 2008, 335 babies were

born at LHS. The birthday party was hosted by the hospital's Expectations team, which is comprised of nurses who work with expectant parents and families through pregnancy, the birth of their child and beyond. More than 150 guests were treated to games, prizes, balloons, a picnic dinner and birthday cake. Each baby received a stuffed "Happy Birthday" monkey and a T-shirt that reads "Delivering Dreams Come True."
