Art class series

The Crossing Arts Alliance is announcing a series of art classes designed for both adults and children aged nine and up. The classes will be held in the Franklin Art Center in Brainerd and will be taught by Minnesota artist Dar Brooks.

The Family Art Class is designed for parents, grandparents and children together, is July 24 from 9:30 to 3:30 and - according to Brooks - requires

no previous art experience.

A class for adults on Spontaneous Watercolor with Creative Visualization will be held July 25-26. This class is intended to help with creative motivation and self-confidence, exploring the use of mixed media and unique acrylic and water color techniques.
