An article in last week's edition of the Staples World, in regard to a Motley City Council meeting held June 23, misquoted Motley City Clerk/Treasurer Terri Smith.

When Smith said, "It's none of your business," she was addressing Motley Firefighter Connie Davis; not council member Rob Sampson as stated in the article. Smith does not work for Davis, she explained at the meeting. The Staples World apologizes for the error.
