Week one of the MGA Junior Golf program was held June 19 at The Vintage course in Staples, with two full teams playing.

Players from The Vintage recorded a 234 team score with the Pine Ridge team coming in at 260.

Blueberry Pines fielded just one player.

Vintage players included Zach Israelson at 77, Nick Forsberg 78, Michael Strain 79 and Travis Myers 85.

Pine Ridge players included Tanner Roberts 84, Trent Hagenson 86, Mitch Hagenson 90 and Andrew Nelson 93.

Michael Wing had a 93 for Blueberry Pines.The girls division also had two teams playing.

The Vintage had three girls turning in a 155 score (two players), while Whitetail Run from Wadena also fielded three girls.

Cydney Hasselberg had a 72, Kelly Hagenson 83 and Emily Israelson 99.

Whitetail Run players include Kayla Krause 86, Amanda Kramer 116 and Paige Hartman 119, for a 202 total.

Week two MGA play was held Tuesday, June 23 at Blueberry Pines, Week three will be June 29 at Whitetail Run, with the regional competition July 15 at Minnewaska Golf course.
