 Hailstones roughly a half dollar coin in size were collected during the Thursday, June 18, rainfall. Staples received over a half inch in that storm, and had received another half inch two days before. Along with the Sunday afternoon rain, the area has received some much-needed 2.23 inches of rain in the past week. (Staples World photo by Tom Crawford) |
