Staples police last week received a report of damage to and theft from a parked vehicle last week.

Kimberly Hegge of 110 Roosevelt Street SW reported that between June 18 and June 20, someone broke into her Pontiac Grand Am parked at his residence. The rear drivers side window was damaged and a large amount of cash was taken from inside the car.

Police are seeking information on this incident and urge anyone who may have seen anything unusual to contact them at 1-800-794- 5733. They also urge people to make sure they leave no valuables or money inside of unattended vehicles.
