Where is the wind coming from? I had some beautiful hanging flowers for Mother's Day, but after they were outside for just a little while, they were getting whipped by the wind and I had to bring them in. I finally went to a greenhouse and bought a lot of plants, but haven't started my vegetable garden - yet. I'm getting too old for all of this work.

Four veterans received their high school diplomas at the Cap and Gown celebration at Staples Motley High School. The Staples Host Lions held a dinner for Ladies' Night and the three veterans and Rose accepted Cardinal jackets from the Lions.

When an Army ROTC cadet was kept out of Airborne School because of poor grades, his grandfather was confused. "Wait a minute," he said to his grandson. "You're telling me that these days you have to be smart to jump out of an airplane?"
