EDITOR'S NOTE: Fifth grade students from Karen Holmberg's class at Staples Elementary School had an assignment just before school ended to learn how to write letters and properly address envelopes. Some of the students chose to write "Letters to the Editor" and submitted them for publication. The topics were chosen by the students and, as you will see, are quite wide ranging.
