The Staples Motley School Board will meet at 6:45 p.m., Monday, June 15 at the Motley School cafeteria.

A school/community forum time will start the meeting providing the board chair and/or superintendent have been contacted by noon of the day of the meeting regarding topic.

Tentative agenda items include:

• Finance items including approval of the 2009-10 original budget and the capital outlay budget, approval of food service joint agreements with Freshwater Education District's Area Learning Center and Sacred Heart Area School, accept bakery and dairy bids, and permission to seek bids for two school buses.

• Personnel items including approving the resignation of Bernie Schultz, speech-language pathologist.

• Curriculum items including possible approval of intent to sponsor two charter schools, TIDE (Technology Integrated Differentiated Environment) Academy and Career Connections High School.

• Other items including approval of cooperative agreement with Wadena- Deer Creek and New York Mills schools for boys hockey, approval of agreement with Wadena-Deer Creek and Verndale schools for boys and girls swimming and approval to call a school district election of board members.

• Reports from the school board committees, building principals with first reading of handbooks, high school assistant principal/ activities director, middle school dean of students, buildings and grounds supervisor and superintendent.
