Staples Motley High School Cardinal golfer Tanner Roberts followed his chip shot Saturday morning onto the green of the fifth hole at The Vintage. He was one of the varsity golfers playing in the boys annual Cardinal Invitational, with 16 schools on hand. Golfers are playing now on all 18 holes at The Vintage. Areas such as this were under water a few weeks ago. See Cardinal golf story on page 1b.
