Submitted photo Thirteen-year-old Kyle Quast was all smiles after his first turkey hunt ended successfully Saturday morning. Kyle bagged this beautiful 23-pound Tom using his grandpa's 16 gauge shotgun. The bird he bagged just south of Staples had a 10-1/2inch beard. Joe Fellman was with Kyle and reported the hunter and turkey were locked in a half hour long standoff over who would be seen first. Looks like Kyle won out.
