The regular monthly birthday/anniversary party was held April 14 at the Staples Senior Citizens' Center with 39 people attending. Fifteen people celebrated their April birthdays and one couple celebrated their anniversary. The "Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary" song was sung by everyone and each celebrant received a small decorated cake and a card. After a short program, door prizes and meal, penny bingo was played. The party followed an Easter theme.
