Above are Dave Anderson, Retired Educators President, senior Risca Andalina, freshman Tera Weyer and Cardinal Speech Coach Don Sanda, who is also treasurer of the Retired Educator's chapter.
Tera who is in Informative Speaking and recently qualified to compete in the state speech tournament, titled her speech "Mnemosyne's Curiosities," and spoke about human memory, including ways to retain and even improve your memory as you age. Risca, who is an exchange student from Indonesia, is in Extemporaneous Reading. She read a selection from one of the stories on the list for use in speech contests and answered a variety of questions about her home country, her experiences at Staples Motley High School and her reactions to life in Staples.
