Submitted photo Submitted photo While working on their Emergency Preparedness Merit Badge, Boy Scouts of Troop 61 took part in an emergency service project. As a practice drill the Scouts were to see how much food they would be able to collect for the Motley Food Shelf in one hour. This would prepare them in case of an actual emergency of this type. The four Boy Scouts were able to turn in over 67 pounds of food collected in that hour. From left are Scoutmaster Jace Carlson, Tim Wickman, Ryder Simon, Jonathan Nypan and Warren Japke.
