On March 24, Central Lakes College in Brainerd will host the Lakes Area Career Fair and Training Expo.

The free event will be from 1 to 5 p.m., with employer and agency job assistance booths located in the campus gymnasium.

This year's career fair will focus on training and career opportunities.

The day is designed for anyone evaluating career and training options - from the 50-year-old dislocated worker to the 18-year-old new high school graduate.

Co-sponsors are Central Lakes College, the Brainerd Lakes Chamber, Rural Minnesota Concentrated Employment Program, Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development and the Lakes Area Human Resource Association.
