Staples Historical Society is planning a "Community Talent Show" for 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 18 in Centennial Auditorium, Staples.

Local talent is being invited to participate in the show. All types of individual and group acts are sought including song, dance and instrumental performance or presenting a skit or a speech. People of all ages are welcome.

The Staples "Idols" will be announced and cash prizes will be awarded.

This event is being held during the weekend of the Rotary Art Show and the Freshwater Student Art Show.
