It’s been 40 years since the Motley Lions held their charter ceremony at the Motley School on a cold, January evening in 1972. Four decades and numerous community projects later, they’re still going strong.

‘Game Day’ in Motley provides fun, fellowship during winter months

What better way to pass the time during the long winter months than to play games with your friends?

Area residents have been doing just that on Wednesday afternoons at the Motley United Methodist Church. Their next ‘Game Day’ will be Feb. 15, beginning at 1 p.m.

Numerous burglaries reported in Morrison County

Morrison County Sheriff Michel Wetzel reports that on Jan. 30, two simultaneous investigations occurred in connection with three separate Morrison County burglaries. At the conclusion of these investigations, four area residents were incarcerated in the Morrison County Jail.
