School board agenda
The Staples-Motley School Board will meet Tuesday, April 24, at 7 p.m. in the Staples-Motley High School media center. Note date change.
Agenda items include:
o Financial items including approval of capital outlay list, five-year lease for 41 SMART boards at $2,976 per month and a resolution to apply for NJPA Innovation Funding..
o Personnel items including approval of QComp memorandum of understanding; assignment of Chris Kappler as head football coach; increase contract time for Jackie Engebretson from half to full time; 2018-19 contract for Abelein Dunn, high school special education; 2018-19 one year contract for Alexis Smith, fifth grade teacher; resignation of Emily Hoeschen, high school FACS teacher; resignation of Onni Sharp Anderson; resignation of MacKenzie Holst, middle school paraprofessional; and permission to post for high school FACS, activities director/ high school physical education, first grade teacher (added position), summer school teachers and assistants for 2018 (special education and targeted services) and food service staff.
o Curriculum and policy items including approval of technology plan, various policies and the 2018-19 calendar revisions.
Other items include reports from the principals, superintendent, SMEA and school board committees.
