Age 4: first - Matthew Jewison, Staples, 5’ 3”; second - Cayden Dickman, Staples, 4’ 10”; third - Levi Mumm, Staples, 2’ 7”
Age 5: First - Jacob Reeck, Staples, 8’ 6”; second - Jayden Rogers, Staples, 6’ 5”; third - Millinda DeWald, Staples, 6’
Age 6: first - Colton Johnson, Sebeka, 36’ Full Pull; second - Carsen Sweeney, Staples, 30’; third - Andrew Black, Staples, 27’ 7”

A total of 67 children participated in the Pedal Tractor Pull at the Staples Railroad Days. First, second and third place winners have the opportunity to compete at the state tournament on Sept. 10, in Hutchinson.
This year’s ‘Dr. Pepper helpers’ at the event were Hannah Christle and Topanga Braith. Both received CT Pedal Caps for their service. Staples Ace Hardware sponsored CT Pedal Pulls, Bob and Marge, of Motley.
